Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel at 0700hrs and drive north to Samburu National Reserve to arrive at around 1300 hours in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's zebra gerenuk, beisa oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari lodge or camp in Samburu reserve.

 

Day 2: Full Day on Safari at Samburu Game Reserve

Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game

Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of

Kenya's giraffe species - the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari lodge or camp in Samburu reserve.

 

Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning breakfast game en-route leave Samburu for Lake Nakuru arriving in time forlunch and check in at lodge/camp. Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to its Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight in the lodge/camp.

 

Day 4: Nakuru - Maasai Mara

Wake up early for a full breakfast then depart south for Masai Mara arriving in time for check in and lunch. Relax in the afternoon before proceeding for the evening game drive looking for the Big Five, count as many lions as you can because we will ask you how many you counted, among other animals. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 5: Explore Masai Mara

You will wake up for an early morning game drive and return to the lodge/camp for full breakfast. After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their preys like the Zebra, Wildebeest,

Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara River. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

 

Day 6: Explore Masai Mara

Full day spent exploring the Maasai Mara in search of the big 5- Optional early morning balloon safari or a tour of the Masai Village can be arranged at an extra cost.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

 

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

You will wake up for an early morning game drive for a chance to see more animals (this is optional) before returning to the lodge/camp for full breakfast. Check out from the lodge/camp and drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Drop off at either your Nairobi

Hotel or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight back home.

Child Policy

At Felessy Tours and Safaris, we understand the importance of creating memorable family vacations. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for families with children, we have formulated the following children policy:

  1. Children below 3 years:
    • Children aged below 3 years old are welcomed with open arms and are eligible to travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one paying adult.
  2. Children between 3 and 13 years:
    • Children between the ages of 3 and 13 years will be charged at a discounted rate of 75 percent of the adult rate. This is our way of making family travel more accessible and affordable for parents with young children.
  3. Teens between 13 and 18 years:
    • Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 years are considered young adults and will be subject to the full adult rate. This reflects our commitment to offering fair pricing while recognizing the changing needs and preferences of older children.

 

Booking Policy

Clients are supposed to make a 50 percent down payment to confirm their safari. The balance is paid either in cash or through credit card upon arrival in Kenya before commencement of the safari. Please note that credit card payment attracts an extra charge which is levied by the banks.
