Tsavo West as a safari destination covers a total area of 9065sq kms and hosts a wide variety of wildlife species from the 'Big Five' - Lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant, numerous other carnivores, gazelles to over 150 bird species.

Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo West National park

Your 2 nights 3 Days Tsavo West National Park Safari-Starts from your hotel in Nairobi to Tsavo West National park. Enter the park through Tsavo River Gate. Embark on a game drive after entry in search of the Big five in the vast Tsavo as we head for check in and lunch at agreed Camp or Lodge. Short rest then venture out for an evening game viewing en-route to Ngulia Rhino sanctuary in search of the endangered black rhino and other animals. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp.

Day 2: Full day safari in Tsavo West National Park

The next Whole day is yours to explore the vast Tsavo West National Park, an area of natural beauty and high biodiversity.

This second day of your Tsavo west safari begins with an early morning game drive before breakfast. Thereafter leave for the mid-morning game drive which includes a visit to Mzima springs where Hippos, Crocodiles, different species of fish can be seen in crystal clear water and lots of different species of birds. Game drive in the park searching for more game then return to the lodge for lunch. Short rest then proceed with your game drive visiting the Shetani lava flow where you will be able to see the Africa’s highest snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro from a distance afterwards drive back to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park to Nairobi

Pre and after breakfast game drive looking for animals. Later on game drive enroute as you leave the park. Depart for Nairobi with lunch en-route arriving late in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel in Nairobi Port or Airport.

Child Policy

At Felessy Tours and Safaris, we understand the importance of creating memorable family vacations. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for families with children, we have formulated the following children policy:

1. Children below 3 years:
   • Children aged below 3 years old are welcomed with open arms and are eligible to travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one paying adult.
2. Children between 3 and 13 years:
   • Children between the ages of 3 and 13 years will be charged at a discounted rate of 75 percent of the adult rate. This is our way of making family travel more accessible and affordable for parents with young children.
3. Teens between 13 and 18 years:
   • Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 years are considered young adults and will be subject to the full adult rate. This reflects our commitment to offering fair pricing while recognizing the changing needs and preferences of older children.

 

Booking Policy

Clients are supposed to make a 50 percent down payment to confirm their safari. The balance is paid either in cash or through credit card upon arrival in Kenya before commencement of the safari. Please note that credit card payment attracts an extra charge which is levied by the banks.
