Sweetwaters is located in typical savannah grasslands with ‘Whistling Thorn’ and other acacia trees, overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt-lick, Sweetwaters is truly an oasis. It offers guests some of the finest tented accommodation in Kenya, personalised service and attention, and abundant game viewing opportunities. Sweetwaters Tented Camp, with magnificent views across the plains to the snowcapped peaks of Mount Kenya, lies in the heart of 90,000 acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This game sanctuary is the closest reserve to Nairobi with the ‘big five’, and has the highest ratio of game-to-area of any park or reserve in Kenya.

Accommodation & Facilities: The Camp consists of 40 luxury en-suite tents, some on ground level and some erected on raised wooden platforms. All tents are covered with thatch, keeping them cool even during the hottest day. Each spacious tent has a verandah and en-suite bathroom. The original farmhouse contains the dining room, bar and reception, and other facilities include a swimming pool.

Ol Pejeta Ranch includes the 24,000 acre private Sweetwaters Game Reserve, and is home to a grand variety of wild game, bird-life, and exotic flora. Once home of millionaire Adnan Khashoggi, Ol Pejeta Ranch House offers exclusivity for a maximum of twelve guests. The house, furnished with original and unusual paintings and artifacts, comprises six elegantly appointed suites, which overlook extensive tropical gardens and two swimming pools.

Day 1: Nairobi to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary, Kenya

Distance: 270 kms (4 hrs) Journey north through the Equator to this private game sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Afternoon is free for optional activities as game viewing, walking safaris or night game drives. Overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

Day 2: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary,Kenya

Morning game viewing. After breakfast, return to Game viewing followed by Lunch,Dinner and overnight

Day 3: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary to Nairobi, Kenya

Morning game viewing. After breakfast, return to Nairobi to arrive just before lunch where the tour ends.

Child Policy

At Felessy Tours and Safaris, we understand the importance of creating memorable family vacations. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for families with children, we have formulated the following children policy:

1. Children below 3 years:
   • Children aged below 3 years old are welcomed with open arms and are eligible to travel free of charge when accompanied by at least one paying adult.
2. Children between 3 and 13 years:
   • Children between the ages of 3 and 13 years will be charged at a discounted rate of 75 percent of the adult rate. This is our way of making family travel more accessible and affordable for parents with young children.
3. Teens between 13 and 18 years:
   • Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 years are considered young adults and will be subject to the full adult rate. This reflects our commitment to offering fair pricing while recognizing the changing needs and preferences of older children.

 

Booking Policy

Clients are supposed to make a 50 percent down payment to confirm their safari. The balance is paid either in cash or through credit card upon arrival in Kenya before commencement of the safari. Please note that credit card payment attracts an extra charge which is levied by the banks.
